St. Maria Goretti is a parish of the Diocese of Lancaster England.

We are a Catholic community in the Ribbleton area of Preston, Lancashire, England.

Together we pray, worship, care for each other and the people of our area.

Our church is dedicated to St. Maria Goretti who was canonised just before the founding of our parish in 1954.

The Clergy here are Fr Feliks Sciborski (Parish Priest) and Fr Krzysztof Goralski (Assistant Priest) who were appointed by Bishop Campbell in September and July 2009 respectively.

Fr Feliks holds a doctorate in Sacred Theology and is a Canon in the Diocese of Lublin. Before coming to Preston, Father Feliks was based in the Diocese of Wrexham.                                               

Fr Krysztof is from the Diocese of Radom and has been in the UK for five years serving first in Redditch and then Preston.
As well as Parish duties they will also be responsible for the pastoral care of the Polish Community in the area.
Bishop Michael says he is sure parishioners will continue with their warm and generous support for their priests as they have done in the past. Fr Tim Sullivan has moved as Parish Priest to St Mary, Newhouse.
